2023 IAEAPE Conference
NAsW and EACC Approval
The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) has approved 15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the conference. IAEAPE is accepted by NASW as a provider of Social Work Continuing Education Hours.
IAEAPE receives approval by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC) to provide Professional Development Hours (PDHs). EACC has approved 15 PDHs for the conference.
In addition, EACC awards one PDH for a year's active membership in IAEAPE. (See the announcement below)
EACC Approves PDH Credit for EAPA Membership
Effective July 1, 2010, active CEAPs will earn PDH credit for membership in EAPA and/or other qualifying national or international EA professional associations or societies. The EACC voted to approve the awarding of two (2) PDHs per full year of active EAPA membership during a certification cycle and/or one (1) PDH per full year of active membership in other qualifying EA associations* or societies during a certification cycle. The maximum number of PDHs to be earned from professional memberships per recertification cycle was established at six (6). CEAP candidates may not use PDHs from membership toward CEAP exam eligibility requirements.
*Note: IAEAPE has been informed that we are a qualifying EA association.
