Mission

Our Mission

The International Association of Employee Assistance Programs in Education (IAEAPE) is an autonomous, non-profit association of employee assistance professionals working in Employee Assistance Programs in K-12, community colleges, colleges, and universities. The Association serves as the forum in which knowledge, resources, and experiences gained from providing EAP services in educational settings are shared. This international organization networks employee assistance professionals who provide services to educational institutions, representatives of educational institutions with Employee Assistance Programs and individuals developing Employee Assistance Programs in educational institutions. 

The goals of the International Association of EAPs in Education include providing the following:

  • Opportunities for EAP practitioners in educational settings to network and share information.
  • Opportunities for practitioners to discuss current EAP programming issues.
  • Educational programs which upgrade practitioners' skills.
  • Consultation to individuals developing EAPs in educational institutions
