IAEAPE, as a group, is most delighted with its listserv.The listserv includes all association members in good standing. It is the primary bond which holds the association together. On it, members ask questions about cases, about procedures, or about any dilemma where suggestions or advice is wanted. In addition, workshops are shared, openings are posted, and, occasionally, polls are taken.
It is a medium for efficiently contacting many professionals who work in internal employee assistance programs in similar settings. Often the responses gathered from colleagues help a member provide information to his or her administration. The general consensus is that the listserv is the most valuable benefit of being a member of this association.
